*looks out at the icy rain leaving a glistening trail down my windowpane* Today, it is miserable out. It was supposed to snow but instead, we got this yucky rain. You know, the kind of weather that makes you long for sunny days with bright blue skies. On SL, we don’t have to have dreary days if we don’t want to so I took advantage of this to throw together a look that reminds me of warmer weather and the beach. In RL, I live about an hour away from the beach so if I really want to, I can just hop in my car and be on the boardwalk skating my heart out in no time.
There is nothing more fun than skating down the beaten and worn boardwalk with the cool ocean breeze on your face and the soothing sound of the waves crashing against the beach. You can let your mind wander to whatever your heart’s content is as you peek into the many shops the line the street side. Just be careful though because sometimes you hit one of those groves from the older planks and then you can stumble a bit. Oh no! Looks like I wasn’t watching where I was going! *Giggles* Maybe I should take my own advice!

Belleza released a new skin line called Ava and it is definitely the best yet in my opinion. They are one of the skin brands that I always look for new releases from and I’m never disappointed but this one is flawless! I’m wearing the no makeup skin with my favorite eyeliner and lashes – I think its just perfect♥
I’m also wearing a new hairstyle from Exile that is already my “go to” hair. And for this round of Zodiac, Pididdle has made some lovely mermaid inspired shell bras! They are unrigged and have a resizer to fit all. Happy Shopping!

I don’t know about you but I’m kind of addicted to Christmas movies especially the cheesy romantic ones they show on the Lifetime and Hallmark channels. They all have the same type of story: damaged by some tragedy and not looking for love small town girl meets equally damaged and unavailable small town boy and bam, sparks fly and there is love. I think being exposed to these types of movies over the years has made me crave small town living which is kind of hard beings I live in a huge city. I envision just one Christmas where I go somewhere where everyone knows everyone else and I can take a stroll down the main street window shopping as the snow falls lightly and Christmas carolers sing in the square. Since this isn’t going to happen anytime soon, I figured that I’d use it as inspiration for this post.
My look for my stroll is a mishmosh of goodies I’ve snagged from Winter Fair and the newest round of The Arcade. I was very lucky in attaining quite a few rares pretty easily at Arcade so I’m proud of that plus the Winter Fair goodies were too cute not to show off. Ive been wearing this outfit for like a week now, waiting to blog it. And I thought it was a cute outfit, something different and un-usual so I decided to pop it up here. Cos it is cute, and if you’ve seen everyone else’s posts’ everyone has their own definition of cute. This dress is a new-ish mesh release from Emery, they’ve the awesomest mesh stuff I always loved their style. As it’s just so different, it’s always up-to date but with their own flair it’s very awesome. The hair is from Exile, he does amazing hair! I love every single release of his, and I love this “bleach” colour especially.
This skin has a bit of a story behind it, Mother Goose a new-ish skin store to me I got taken too and I went to demo it but instead of grabbing demo’s I accidentally bought it. Luckily it looks pretty ok, so I wasn’t so disappointed and I’ve actually been wearing it. Though I just wish I would’ve baught it in a lighter colour, but I’m not sure if that store offers them or not.

I finally got around to visiting the Tomorrow Today fundraiser and picked up quite a few goodies, and saw a few booths that led me to other stores, so everything (almost) in this picture has been purchased in the last half an hour or so! YAY!
I adore these boots from Zombie Suicide, I knew I had to have them but I didn’t know how i’d wear them, but I found a perfect hoodie dress there too and voila, the darker side of cute sprang to mind!
I love these eyes that I picked up from IKON from the fundraiser, as well as this gorgeous skin from Modish, not my usual look but one I think I dig, as it’s a bit different and I like to be a bit different sometimes.

Sometimes RL can invade our Living the Cute Life in SL! I admit, this has happened to be over the last few weeks. My inventory is totally not Cute after being neglected for so long. How do you all handle not so cute inventory situations? Do you have a favourite method or tool to keep things organized?
